I’m Harriet, the planner behind the pretty. Before stepping into the world of weddings, I was an actress on the West End and touring Internationally — which means I know exactly how to create atmosphere, captivate an audience, keep calm under pressure, and make every moment feel like the highlight of the show. Now, I bring that same energy into planning celebrations that feel fun, effortless, and totally unique to you.

I started The Dorset Wedding Co. after hiring a planner for my own wedding to my wife  and realising how disconnected the process can feel. I was constantly handed generic supplier lists, template emails, and a planning experience that made me feel more like a number than a couple with a story. I knew there had to be a better way — one where couples feel supported, heard, and truly prioritised. So I created a service that offers exactly what I wished I’d had: personal guidance, genuine connection, and a planning journey that feels exciting, collaborative, and completely tailored to you.

I’m here for the big, bold weddings (up to 300 guests!), the beautifully intimate micro-weddings, and everything in between. Whether you need full planning or a dedicated director on the day,
